As a vital part of our kitchen operations, you will assist in food preparation, maintain cleanliness, and ensure food safety standards are upheld. Responsibilities Assist in the preparation of food items according to established recipes and standards. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace, including washing dishes and cleaning surfaces. Ensure all food handling practices comply with food safety regulations. Support cooks in various tasks, including chopping vegetables, cooking ingredients, and assembling dishes. Buss tables and assist with the setup and breakdown of banquet events as needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations during peak hours. Help maintain inventory levels by reporting shortages or needed supplies to management. Experience Previous experience in a kitchen setting is preferred but not required; we welcome those eager to learn. Familiarity with food handling techniques and safety practices is a plus. Experience in restaurants, hotels, or banquet services is advantageous. A positive attitude and ability to work well in a team-oriented environment are essential.
