The position of Kitchen Assistant will provide assistance to our Chef and Banquet Manager as necessary. Responsibilities will primarily be operational assistance, including but not limited to the oversight and coordination of kitchen operations as well as assisting in the setup and tear down of all events. The Kitchen Assistant will also coordinate all food, beverage, paper, and linen ordering with Chef and Banquet Manager, placing, picking up & receiving orders as well as completing the financial paperwork related to ordering and have oversite of all related inventory. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, an Associates degree preferred. Valid ServSafe Certification plus a minimum of two years’ experience in the food service and hospitality industry is also preferred. Applicants must possess and maintain a valid Drivers’ License, reliable vehicle, current registration and insurance coverage of $100,000/$300,000. Full COVID vacinnation is also a requirement.
