Kitchen Staff 4.2 4.2 out of 5 stars 26 Falls Road, Moodus, CT 06469 Job Overview As a Kitchen Team Member, you will play a vital role in our culinary operations, ensuring that our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for food preparation, meal assembly, and maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about the food industry and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and cooking ingredients as directed by the kitchen staff. Ensure all food safety and handling guidelines are strictly followed to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment. Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including knives and other culinary tools. Help with meal preparation by assembling dishes according to recipes and presentation standards. Maintain cleanliness of workstations, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours. Support cooks and chefs in various tasks as needed to enhance overall kitchen efficiency. Experience Previous experience in a kitchen or culinary environment is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and basic cooking skills is beneficial. Knowledge of food safety practices is a plus; training will be provided for those new to the industry. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to help others in the kitchen as needed. Job Types:
