FOH Floor Staff at our Stamford Location! The Taco Project 1111 High Ridge Road, Stamford, CT 06905 The Taco Project is a multi-state full-service restaurant that is committed to providing its customers with excellence in dining. Some of the responsibilities include:
FRONT OF HOUSE-CREW MEMBERS
The Front of the House Crew Members are the faces of the restaurant. You will be responsible for welcoming customers, taking orders, and serving food to customers. You will ensure all customers are provided a tremendous customer experience by assuring the highest quality food, with attentive service. He/She is responsible for all activities regarding FOH service of the restaurant. In addition to following The Taco Project’s policies and procedures, principal responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Cashier
- efficiently managing the Toast POS System and all transactions. Phones
- effectively managing all call in orders, online orders, and 3rd party delivery service orders. Food Service
- efficiently running food to guests, preparation of pick up orders, and preparation of online and 3rd party delivery pick ups. Beverage Service
- mixing and serving all alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages.
Communication with team and participating in pre-shift meetings. Providing friendly, quality customer service to each and every guest.
Requirements:
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. Basic knowledge of food handling practices is essential. Ability to work well within a team environment while also being self-motivated. Familiarity with sales techniques is a plus, enhancing the overall customer experience. Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks as required in a busy full-service restaurant setting.
- The ability to constantly perform well in a high-pressure and fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
1+ Years’ experience in the food industry. Any Food/Safety Certification a plus Bilingual in English/Spanish a Plus.

$14.00-16.00/Hour + tips (commensurate with experience)
