Job Summary:

The Line Prep prepares and aids in the preparation of food, complies with all applicable sanitation, health, and personal hygiene standards and follows established food production programs and procedures. The Line Prep is also responsible for appropriate use of facility supplies and equipment to minimize loss, waste and fraud, and can include heavy lifting up to 50 pounds.

  • Ability to recognize and follow company or product instructions.

  • Collaboration, customer client focus, flexibility and stress management/composure.
  • Prior experience in a related food service position.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to read, write and speak English well to effectively communicate and interact with internal and external customers.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Prep the food daily for meals
  • Follow recipes and proper food preparation methods.
  • Assist in new recipe testing and adjusting bulk cooking
  • Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment.
  • Prepare ingredients for cooking methods.
  • Clean up kitchen area during and after food preparation
  • Deep clean equipment and kitchen area according to schedule
  • Stock inventory as needed.
  • Ensure food comes out in perfect condition by meeting quality standards.
  • Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards.
  • Assist in set-up, serving and clean-up of any meals including meals outside the dining hall
  • Assists in inventory preparation
  • Assists in order preparation
