BOH Staff Kings Duck Bar & Grill Merritt Island, FL 32953 Job Summary We are seeking dedicated and passionate Back of House Staff to join our culinary team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and dietary department. You will be responsible for meal preparation, food handling, and maintaining a clean and efficient work environment. Ideal candidates will have experience in the food industry, particularly in roles such as dietary aide, cook, or catering. Responsibilities Assist in meal preparation according to menu planning and dietary guidelines. Ensure proper food handling and sanitation practices are followed at all times. Support the kitchen team by preparing ingredients and maintaining inventory levels. Collaborate with other staff members to ensure timely service and high-quality meals. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas. Participate in catering events as needed, ensuring all food is prepared to specifications. Follow safety protocols to minimize risks in the kitchen environment. Experience Previous experience in food service or the food industry is preferred. Familiarity with dietary aide responsibilities and menu planning is a plus. Knowledge of proper food handling techniques and safety standards. Experience in meal preparation within a restaurant or catering setting is advantageous. Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
