Job Overview :

No early mornings or late nights! We are seeking dedicated and passionate individuals to join our team. As a Kitchen Team Member at SoFresh Viera, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the safety and smooth operation of our kitchen and food preparation. You will be responsible for assisting with food prepping, maintaining cleanliness and supporting the team in delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation of meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and efficient kitchen operations Maintain a safe working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations Establish and maintain a high standard of cleanliness in the kitchen and food preparation areas Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other food preparation tools Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards at all times for all prep areas, dishes, equipment and floors Help with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed and reporting any shortages to the shift lead/manager Able to stand for 7-9 hours per shift and lift 40+lb cases

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred Knowledge of kitchen operations, basic cooking techniques and food handling safety standards preferred Ability to effectively communicate with team members, shift leads and managers in a fast-paced setting is important for success in this role Attention to detail while preparing and delivering the highest quality food product Familiarity with inventory ordering and organization to maintain appropriate stock levels is a plus Strong leadership skills and willingness to learn new skills will contribute to your growth within our team
