Our goal is to efficiently deliver a superior product, at a moderate price, with exceptional service, in a comfortable setting. Parlor Doughnuts is looking for experienced team members to hand craft a quality layered doughnut from start to finish that meets or exceeds the Parlor standard. Den/Back of House workers are responsible for ensuring a full display of doughnuts is available, while meeting the needs of the customer. Duties & Responsibilities Prepare doughnuts from start to finish (prepare, fry and decorate) Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations of fryers and manage inventory of ingredients Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe dining experience for customers Help front of house by providing excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and addressing customer concerns Help direct in additional duties such as, sweeping, dishes, or garbage. Experience Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting is preferred but not required Knowledge of basic food handling and preparation techniques Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously Physical stamina to withstand a full shift on their feet Must obtain/maintain Serv Safe® or State certification Must be on time for opening shift (4:00am) Knowledge/training/certification in kitchen emergencies (First Aid, CPR, Fires) If you are passionate about food, enjoy working in a team-oriented environment, and have a strong commitment to customer service, we would love to hear from you!
