Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Helper to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will assist in food preparation, cooking, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen.
Duties:
- Assist in food preparation under the guidance of the kitchen staff
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen work areas
- Wash, peel, chop, cut, and cook food items as directed
- Handle and store food ingredients following safety standards
- Assist in receiving and storing deliveries
- Support kitchen staff during peak hours
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or culinary environment is preferred
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and basic meal preparation techniques
- Ability to work well in a team setting and follow instructions
- Basic understanding of kitchen equipment such as knives, slicers, and mixers
