Responsibilities Assist in food preparation, including washing, chopping, and measuring ingredients for meal preparation. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen by washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment. Help with meal preparation for catering events or daily service as needed. Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Support chefs by providing assistance during busy service times, including restocking supplies and ingredients. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety protocols. Participate in inventory management by helping to track stock levels of food items and supplies. Requirements Previous experience in a culinary or restaurant environment is preferred but not required. Basic knowledge of food handling techniques and safety practices is essential. Familiarity with kitchen tools such as knives and other food preparation equipment is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
