Assist chefs in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, slicing, and measuring. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pantry area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Monitor inventory levels of pantry supplies and assist in ordering as needed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food items for service. Help in menu planning by providing input on available ingredients and seasonal options. Support catering events by preparing necessary pantry items and assisting with setup. Requirements Previous experience in a food service environment, preferably in fine dining or catering. Proficient knife skills and familiarity with various kitchen equipment. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment. A passion for culinary arts and a willingness to learn and grow within the role.
