Job Summary:

As a Back of House (BOH) Team Member at Cypress Lake Chick-fil-A, you will play a critical role in ensuring the kitchen operates efficiently and maintains the highest standards of food quality, cleanliness, and speed of service. You will work behind the scenes to prepare, cook, and assemble menu items with excellence and care, contributing directly to a remarkable guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Food Preparation & Cooking Accurately follow Chick-fil-A’s recipes and procedures to prepare fresh food items. Operate kitchen equipment including grills, fryers, ovens, and slicers safely and correctly. Maintain proper food portioning and presentation standards. Monitor food quality throughout the preparation and cooking process. Kitchen Efficiency & Teamwork Work collaboratively with fellow BOH and Front of House (FOH) team members to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment. Keep workstations clean, organized, and stocked throughout your shift. Proactively communicate with leadership regarding inventory shortages, equipment issues, or kitchen flow. Cleanliness & Sanitation Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines including proper handwashing, glove use, and cleaning practices. Conduct routine cleaning tasks (wiping surfaces, sweeping, mopping, sanitizing equipment). Assist in daily and weekly deep-cleaning procedures as assigned. Compliance & Safety Adhere to all food safety standards and local health regulations. Ensure compliance with Chick-fil-A’s operational procedures and quality standards. Maintain a safe working environment by using equipment properly and reporting any hazards. Professionalism & Integrity Maintain a positive, respectful attitude with team members and leaders. Arrive on time for scheduled shifts and be ready to work in uniform. Uphold Chick-fil-A’s core values of hospitality, excellence, and stewardship.

Qualifications & Skills:

Previous kitchen or BOH experience preferred but not required (training provided). Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask efficiently. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds. Willingness to learn and take direction with a teachable spirit.

REQUIREMENTS

In our kitchens, we focus on fresh and simple ingredients. And we always have.
