Duties Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards. Assist with food service operations, ensuring timely delivery of meals. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and work areas. Handle food items safely, adhering to all food safety regulations. Support dietary aides in meal preparation for special dietary needs. Utilize kitchen equipment, including knives and cooking tools, safely and efficiently. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations. Skills Proficient in food preparation techniques and practices. Experience as a dietary aide or in a similar role within the food industry is preferred. Strong knowledge of food handling and safety protocols. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Excellent knife skills and familiarity with various cooking methods. Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills. Previous experience in a restaurant setting is an advantage.
