The ideal candidate will assist in the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment. This role is essential for maintaining the standards of our restaurant, dietary department, or catering services, ensuring that all food safety protocols are followed while contributing to menu planning and food preparation. Duties Assist in the preparation of ingredients and cooking of meals according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Support the head cook in menu planning and food presentation to ensure a fine dining experience for guests. Participate in catering events, preparing dishes that meet customer specifications and dietary needs. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality control during food service operations. Help with inventory management, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste. Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or culinary environment is preferred but not required. Familiarity with dietary department operations or fine dining service is a plus. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential. Experience with food preparation techniques, catering services, and menu planning will be advantageous. Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure are crucial for success in this role.
