Job Requirements Must be able to efficiently use flat top grills and deep fryers. Be able to memorize builds for multiple menu items. Knowledge of weights, measurements, volumes and cooking procedures. Preparing a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, sauces, salsas, and other food items. Following recipes accurately and maintaining food preparation processes such as: chopping, dicing, cutting, slicing, seasoning, and portioning. Completing hot and cold food preparation accurately, neatly, and in an efficient manner. Preparing food throughout the day as needed, anticipating and reacting and reacting to customer volume/rush times. Maintaining appropriate portion control and consistently monitoring food levels on the line. Maintain proper food handling, safety, and sanitation standards while preparing and cooking food. Maintaining a clean and sanitary work area. Handling, storing and rotating all food products properly. Other Requirements 6 months restaurant experience preferred. Ability to work positively in a fast paced work environment. Ability to work efficiently as a team. Must be able to work in a confined space and stand for an extended period of time. Basic English reading and communication skills. Knowledge of Health Department standards for food service employees. Ability to work efficiently under pressure. Must be prompt, reliable and flexible.
