Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kavatender to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and customer service, with the ability to supervise kitchen operations and provide exceptional service to our guests. As a Kavatender, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers have an enjoyable experience while managing the bar and kitchen areas effectively. Responsibilities Supervise daily operations of the bar and kitchen, ensuring high standards of service and cleanliness. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing any concerns or requests. Prepare and serve beverages, including cocktails, while adhering to recipes and presentation standards. Assist in managing inventory, including ordering supplies and maintaining budgetary constraints. Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and service during events or banquets. Train and mentor new staff members in bartending techniques, customer service skills, and kitchen management practices. Maintain a safe and organized work environment by following health and safety regulations. Qualifications Previous experience in bartending or hospitality is preferred. Strong supervisory skills with experience in kitchen management is a plus. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members. Knowledge of cash handling procedures and budgeting practices. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
