Responsibilities Assist chefs and cooks in meal preparation and cooking tasks. Help maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area. Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed at all times. Support catering events by preparing ingredients and assisting with service. Wash, peel, and chop vegetables as needed for various dishes. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently. Assist in inventory management by checking stock levels and reporting shortages. Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Experience Previous experience in a kitchen setting, such as catering, restaurant, or food service, is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food handling practices and culinary techniques is a plus. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff. A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new skills within the culinary field.
