This position requires a keen attention to detail and strong communication skills to coordinate between the kitchen staff and service team. The Expediter is responsible for maintaining food safety standards while overseeing the flow of food from preparation to service. Duties Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food preparation. Review orders for completeness and accuracy before they are served. Communicate effectively with servers regarding order status and any special requests. Monitor food presentation and quality before it leaves the kitchen. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and standards. Support bussing duties during peak service times to maintain efficiency. Skills Strong background in culinary arts or experience in a hotel or hospitality setting. Excellent communication skills to effectively relay information between kitchen and service staff. Customer service-oriented mindset to enhance guest experiences. Knowledge of banquet operations and food preparation techniques. Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations.
