Kitchen Staff Smokehouse ATL BBQ Riverdale, GA 30296 Job Summary As a Kitchen Team Member, you will play a vital role in our culinary operations, ensuring that our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently. You will assist in food preparation, maintain cleanliness, and provide exceptional customer service. This position is perfect for individuals who are passionate about food and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Assist with food preparation tasks, including Prepare and/ or cut meats for serving (pork ribs, brisket, oxtails, chicken wings), chopping, slicing, and cooking ingredients. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace by following proper sanitation practices. Help with the setup and breakdown of kitchen equipment for events and daily operations. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure timely service and high-quality food delivery. Support the culinary team during busy periods, including banquet services and special events. Handle food items safely by adhering to food handling guidelines and regulations. Handle dishwashing as needed to maintain a clean kitchen area. Qualifications Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred but not required. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members. A passion for culinary arts and willingness to learn new skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of food handling practices with barbeque is a plus. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
