Asian Restaurant Kitchen Helper Dumpling Master Decatur Decatur, GA 30030 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Helper to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will assist in various kitchen tasks, ensuring a smooth and efficient food preparation process. This role is essential in maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness while supporting the kitchen staff in delivering exceptional service. Responsibilities Assist in food preparation by chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, utensils, and equipment. Follow food safety guidelines to ensure all food is handled properly. Support cooks and chefs with various tasks to ensure timely meal service. Help with inventory management by restocking supplies and ingredients as necessary. Participate in catering events by preparing food items according to specifications. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other tools. Experience Previous experience in the food industry or a similar role is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures is a plus. Familiarity with basic cooking techniques and kitchen equipment is beneficial. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
