• Seeking a reliable and hardworking Cook/Server to join our growing Soul Food Restaurant . .

• Responsibilities:

• Food Prep:

• Assist in preparing ingredients such as washing, chopping, and portioning vegetables, meats, and other items according to recipes and instructions.

• Short Order Cook:

• Support the kitchen team by handling basic cooking tasks like mixing ingredients, preparing sauces, and assembling simple dishes.
• Waitress and Waiters

• Dishwashing:

• Operate the dishwasher to clean plates, utensils, pots, and pans. Hand-wash larger items as needed.

• Kitchen Cleanliness:

• Ensure that all kitchen surfaces, including counters, floors, and equipment, are kept clean and sanitized.

• Waste Management:

• Properly dispose of kitchen waste and recycling, and assist with managing garbage/compost areas.

• Restocking:

• Restock kitchen supplies and ensure all stations have the necessary ingredients and tools ready for service.

• Team Support:

• Provide general support to the kitchen staff, stepping in where needed to ensure smooth operation during busy times.
• Helping with inventory management and restocking at the end of the shift.

• Qualifications:

• Strong work ethic and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
