The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service and kitchen operations, with a keen interest in culinary arts and menu planning. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality dishes that meet our standards for fine dining and customer satisfaction. Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Ensure food safety and sanitation practices are followed at all times. Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain a smooth workflow during service. Assist in menu planning, including seasonal specials and dietary options. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling techniques. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other cooking tools. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed. Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols. Requirements Proven experience in a food service or culinary role, preferably in a fine dining environment. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for food handling. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining high-quality standards. Excellent knife skills and proficiency with various cooking techniques. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. A passion for the food industry and commitment to continuous learning in culinary arts.
