In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. You will assist in meal preparation, food preparation, and contribute to creating a positive dining experience for our guests. Responsibilities Assist in the preparation of meals according to established recipes and standards. Perform food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment. Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including knives and other culinary tools. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service. Help with inventory management by tracking supplies and reporting shortages. Follow all food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure the health and safety of our guests. Requirements Previous experience in the food industry, restaurant, or catering environment is preferred but not required. Basic knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation methods. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to help others in the kitchen. Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members. Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds as needed.
