Position Overview:
As a Praline Candy Maker, you’ll be trained to create our beloved pralines from scratch while also helping maintain the charm and order of the store. This role combines kitchen work with light retail duties and requires someone who’s comfortable on their feet, ready to multitask, and committed to quality and consistency.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook pralines according to in-house recipes (training provided)
- Monitor candy quality and appearance with a focus on consistency and presentation
- Engage with customers, offer samples, and maintain a friendly, welcoming attitude
- Stock Candy trays and displays as needed
- Keep kitchen areas clean and organized
- Follow instructions from management and communicate effectively with team members
- Stand, bend, reach, and lift throughout shift as needed
- Commit to scheduled shifts and demonstrate punctuality and dependability
Qualifications :
- Kitchen or food prep experience preferred
- Pleasant demeanor and excellent communication skills
- Able to produce in a fast-paced kitchen, multitasking and comfortable working on your feet for extended periods
- Willingness to learn, follow instructions and stay reliable with strong time management and task-follow-through
- Located in the French Quarter/Parking is not provided
