Kitchen Worker 5.0 5.0 out of 5 stars Coushatta, LA 71019 Kitchen Department Worker We are seeking a Kitchen Department Worker for a food production facility in Coushatta to assist with daily operations in a fast-paced environment. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to food safety standards, and the ability to work efficiently as part of a team.
Responsibilities Include:
Assisting with kitchen tasks and ingredient preparation Setting up cooking equipment and performing pre-op cleaning Following precise recipes and instructions from management Maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen area throughout the day Properly staging ingredients for upcoming production runs Following strict food safety protocols and sanitation requirements Reporting inventory shortages and any safety concerns
Qualifications:
Prior experience in an industrial/commercial kitchen preferred Ability to learn and follow food safety programs (GMP, SSOP, HACCP) Strong teamwork skills and ability to adapt to assigned duties
Requirements:
Monday-Friday schedule, with occasional Saturday work if needed Shift starts at 5:30 AM and typically ends by 3:00 PM Must pass all required food safety tests Work in humid, warm, cold, and wet conditions This role offers a structured work environment with an emphasis on efficiency and safety.
