This dual-role position is essential in maintaining the smooth operation of our kitchen, ensuring that both food preparation and cleanliness standards are met. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service and a commitment to providing high-quality dining experiences in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Assist in the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations for service. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment. Ensure all food handling procedures comply with health and safety regulations. Support banquet preparations as needed, assisting with large-scale meal service. Help with inventory management, including receiving and storing food supplies. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Participate in ongoing training to enhance culinary skills and knowledge. Qualifications Previous experience in a food handling or food service role is preferred. Familiarity with kitchen equipment and cooking techniques. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean work environment. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented atmosphere. Knowledge of banquet service is a plus but not required.
