Duties As a Kitchen Team Member, your responsibilities will include: Assisting in food preparation and ensuring all ingredients are fresh and properly stored. Following recipes and portion control guidelines to maintain consistency in food quality. Operating kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including knives and other food preparation tools. Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards at all times. Collaborating with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Supporting the dietary department by preparing meals that meet specific dietary needs when required. Participating in training sessions on food handling and safety practices. Experience The ideal candidate will possess: Previous experience in the food industry or food service environment is preferred. Familiarity with dietary aide responsibilities is a plus. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for handling food. Strong knife skills and experience with various cooking techniques. A proactive attitude towards learning new skills within the kitchen setting. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
