Since opening in 2018, Pie Guy Pizza has become a go-to spot for nightlife in The Grove. Known for our fresh, sourdough-based slices with high-quality toppings and cheese and perfect sauce ratios, we have expanded our menu to include appetizers, salads, and Detroit-style pizza. With innovative eats and a lively atmosphere, Pie Guy Pizza is a favorite hangout in St. Louis. Located in The Grove neighborhood, we have grown from a small takeout spot into a full-blown pizzeria and bar! The space now features funky, psychedelic murals, old-school pizza joint vibes, glossy picnic table seating, a pool table, pinball machines, TVs, and a disco ball. Order your pizza and drinks from the long bar and enjoy a true full-service experience with live music and events. The bar boasts 14 rotating local beers on tap and a creative cocktail menu, including some cannabis-infused and non-alcoholic options.

Job Summary:

We’re seeking an experienced Line Cook / Kitchen Associate to prepare and cook high-quality dishes, maintain a spotless kitchen, and uphold our standards of excellence. If you have a passion for cooking and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want you on our team.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards. Ensure every dish meets our quality and presentation standards. Maintain a clean and organized work area and properly store ingredients. Follow all food safety and sanitation regulations. Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies. Collaborate with kitchen staff for smooth operations. Adhere to portion control and waste management guidelines. Help with opening and closing kitchen duties.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a line cook or similar kitchen role; experience in a pizza kitchen is preferred. Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and food safety regulations. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills. Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Positive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt.
