Restaurant Team Member Knucklehead BBQ 401 East Center Street, Mebane, NC 27302 Job Overview We are seeking dedicated and energetic people to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment that have proven leadership qualities. Our shift lead position at Knucklehead BBQ is responsible for supporting the overall operations of the restaurant by overseeing daily activities, ensuring smooth service, maintaining quality standards, managing staff schedules, and upholding food safety regulations, all while working closely with the Operating Partner to achieve sales and profitability goals. We are looking for outgoing and FUN leaders to ensure that our guests are met with radical hospitality, unwavering quality in the food they are served that will all contribute to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, availability to open and close the restaurant as well as leadership skills responsible for the implementation of the plan on a day-to-day basis, as well as the success of the plan as measured by our growth in sales and profit. Responsibilities Have a BIG personality to welcome in our guests and roll out the red carpet to each and every one!! Being able to communicate well with customers from different backgrounds Processing payments : Accepting cash and credit card payments, processing discounts and coupons, and providing change and receipts Operating the register : Using a point of sale (POS) system to register orders, and closing out the register at the end of the day Assisting with orders : Taking orders, putting takeout orders in bags, and overseeing order completion Maintaining cleanliness : Keeping the register area clean and organized Running food orders outside to our “To-Go” customers Requirements First and foremost, every member of our team must have a passion for the service industry. Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures is essential. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team. Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and use of kitchen tools, including knives.
