In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and assembling a variety of delicious sandwiches while ensuring high standards of food safety and sanitation. You will play a key role in providing excellent customer service and contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests. Responsibilities Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications and menu standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, adhering to food safety regulations. Operate cash register and POS systems accurately, processing customer transactions efficiently. Engage with customers, providing recommendations and upselling menu items when appropriate. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours. Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth workflow in the kitchen. Perform regular inventory checks and assist with stock management as needed. Sanitize work surfaces, utensils, and equipment regularly to uphold health standards. Skills Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell menu items effectively. Proficiency in operating cash registers and POS systems, including Aloha POS experience preferred. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience in food preparation with knowledge of culinary techniques. Basic understanding of retail math for accurate transaction handling. Commitment to maintaining high sanitation standards in food handling and preparation.
