Applicants with experience in a scratch-made kitchen and skilled in hand tossed pizza dough is preferred. Applicants must display excellent customer service skills, conduct themselves professionally and demonstrate dependability. Applicants must be able to execute policies, procedures and recipes of Boxcar Bar + Arcade, General Manager and the Pizza Kitchen Managers while fostering a positive work environment. ServSafe Food Handler Certification is a plus.

Job Responsibilities:

Provide all guests with an exceptional guest service experience in our open kitchen format that includes knowledge of POS system in order to take guests orders and payments; ensure that all orders are accurate before being served to guests in our pickup window; troubleshooting any issues that may arise so that guests are completely satisfied with their order. Produce quality and consistent product following the Boxcar Bar + Arcade recipes and procedures. Executing catering orders for the Boxcar Bar + Arcade private event space so that they are prepped, produced and served in a timely manner while working with the Private Event Space manager to ensure guest satisfaction. Assist in daily tasks that ensure a clean, organized and efficient kitchen that maintains food safety guidelines as well as a safe working environment. Work as a team to complete opening and closing checklists, as well as prep tasks are completed to Boxcar Bar + Arcade standard and actively work to ensure that the next shift is set up for success. Willingness and ability to perform all duties and responsibilities in the pizza kitchen including POS system; prep tasks; pizza line; pizza oven; dishwasher, janitorial; and daily/weekly deep cleans.
