Kitchen Expeditor/ Expo Benvenue Country Club 100 Southern Boulevard, Rocky Mount, NC 27804 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Expediter to join our dynamic kitchen team. The Expediter plays a crucial role in ensuring that food orders are prepared and delivered efficiently, maintaining the highest standards of quality and presentation. Responsibilities Coordinate and manage the flow of food orders from the kitchen to the dining area, ensuring timely delivery. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, servers, and management to ensure all orders are fulfilled accurately. Monitor food preparation processes to ensure compliance with food safety and handling standards. Assist in the preparation of food items as needed, supporting cooks and chefs during peak service times. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the expediting station, ensuring all necessary tools and supplies are readily available. Conduct regular checks on food quality and presentation before it leaves the kitchen. Collaborate with team members to enhance overall service efficiency and guest satisfaction. Experience Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred, particularly in roles related to hospitality or culinary arts. Familiarity with banquet service operations is a plus. Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential. Strong communication skills are required to effectively relay information between kitchen staff and front-of-house personnel. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
