In this role, you will play a vital part in preparing healthy and, yet, simple menu items like chicken Caesar wraps, burgers, salads, etc. This will be a fast paced job due to our new location being located on the Southern Wake Tech Campus. However, with your help we will maintain an organized and efficient kitchen. The ideal candidate will seek opportunities to become a bigger part of our small business as we grow. You will start your training at our current location here in downtown Raleigh. Here you will get to know our menu, our team. Once this location closes, you will play a vital part in the opening of our new location as we conform to our updated menu and kitchen.
Store Hours:
8am-3pm Duties Assist in the preparation and cooking of menu items according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations, utensils, and equipment. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours. Assist Bistro 401’s kitchen manager. Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages. Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Participate in large catering orders. Requirements Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a team-oriented environment. Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Keep in mind that due to being on a college campus, if the campus is closed, so are we. This means during severe weather, holidays and weekends we will remain closed.
