Culinary Team Member Boardwalk Inn & Cafe 139 Ocean Boulevard, Hampton, NH 03842 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Your expertise in meal preparation and food safety will contribute to delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests. Duties Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and measuring food items. Cook menu items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety regulations. Assist in menu planning by providing input on seasonal ingredients and dish ideas. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other cooking tools. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages to management. Skills Proficient in meal preparation techniques and food service operations. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards. Experience in the food industry with a focus on restaurant environments. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Familiarity with menu planning and the ability to adapt recipes as needed. Excellent knife skills and proficiency in using various kitchen equipment. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
