Kitchen Staff Ambrose Restaurant 6 Front Street, Exeter, NH 03833 Overview We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Kitchen Staff to join our culinary team at Ambrose, a tapas-style restaurant in the vibrant town of Exeter. We offer international homemade style International cuisine. As a vital part of our kitchen operations, you will play a key role in food preparation and plating high-quality meals, to include cleaning and reseting the kitchen after the shift. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about food and eager to contribute to a dynamic food service environment. Duties Assist in dishwashing during and after service Assist in meal preparation by following recipes and portioning ingredients accurately. Ensure proper food handling and storage practices are adhered to, maintaining food safety standards. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and cooking appliances. Support the catering team with food preparation for events and special occasions. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, ensuring all surfaces are sanitized. Collaborate with fellow team members to ensure timely service during peak hours. Help with inventory management, including tracking supplies and notifying management of shortages. Qualifications Previous experience in the food industry or food service is required with a minimum of 1 year of experience. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in meal preparation. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to help others in the kitchen. Basic knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques are advantageous.
