Duties Assist in meal preparation by following recipes and guidelines to ensure consistency and quality. Engage in food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and cooking various ingredients. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards. Utilize proper food handling techniques to ensure the safety and quality of all food items. Operate kitchen equipment safely, including knives and other culinary tools. Operate large kitchen equipment safely, including fryolators and grills. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations during peak hours. Support cooks and chefs by helping with various tasks as needed. Qualifications Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required. Basic knowledge of meal preparation and food safety practices. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. A passion for culinary arts and a desire to learn more about the food industry.
