Responsibilities Assist in food preparation tasks including chopping, slicing, and cooking ingredients as directed by the kitchen staff. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, ensuring all surfaces and equipment are sanitized. Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the safe handling and storage of all food products. Support cooks in executing menu items efficiently during peak hours. Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including knives and other food preparation tools. Help with inventory management by checking stock levels and reporting shortages to management. Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment. Qualifications Previous experience in the food industry or food service is preferred but not required. Basic knowledge of food handling, preparation techniques, and safety practices. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to help others in the kitchen. Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards learning new skills.
