The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and a love for creating delicious pasta dishes. As a Pasta Maker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers receive high-quality meals that meet our standards for taste and presentation. This position requires attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Duties Prepare and make various types of pasta from scratch, ensuring adherence to recipes and quality standards. Operate kitchen equipment such as pasta machines, mixers, and cooking appliances safely and effectively. Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely preparation of dishes during peak hours. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pasta-making area, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines. Assist with food handling and preparation tasks as needed, including chopping vegetables and preparing sauces. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests when necessary, answering questions about menu items, and accommodating special requests. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients used in pasta making and communicate needs to management. Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of food service operations. Qualifications Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred, particularly in roles involving food preparation or culinary arts. Strong knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations. Familiarity with retail math for inventory management is a plus. Experience with POS systems is advantageous for efficient order processing. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining individual responsibilities. Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including evenings and weekends.
