Chocolatier and Tour Assistant Kahkow USA 215 Rutgers St, Maplewood, NJ 07040 Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and skilled Chocolatier to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in the food industry, particularly in chocolate production and confectionery. As a Chocolatier, you will create high-quality chocolate products, ensuring exceptional taste and presentation while adhering to food safety standards. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service. Duties Prepare and craft a variety of chocolate confections, including truffles, bars, and molded chocolates. Utilize various techniques for tempering chocolate, enrobing, and decorating finished products. Ensure all chocolate products meet quality standards in taste and appearance. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment while following food safety guidelines. Package finished products attractively for retail display or customer orders. Collaborate with team members to develop new recipes and innovative chocolate creations. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, answering questions, and offering recommendations. Assist and be responsible for weekly tours and classes in our factory. Skills Experience in the restaurant or food industry is preferred, with a background in cooking or baking being highly beneficial. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations to ensure product quality and hygiene. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with customers. Creativity in designing unique chocolate offerings that appeal to customers’ tastes and preferences. Ability to work efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Not afraid of public speaking.
