Seoul Bistro 537 Bloomfield Ave, Bloomfield, NJ 07003 Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Kitchen Team Member to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving food, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service and a commitment to ensuring a positive dining experience for our customers. Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, including sanitizing surfaces and equipment. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently. Assist with inventory management, including receiving and storing food supplies. Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders accurately and efficiently. Handle cash transactions using a cash register or Aloha POS system. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during peak hours. Follow all food handling and safety guidelines to ensure compliance with health regulations. Requirements Previous experience in a food service or restaurant environment is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed. Aloha POS experience is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided.
