Position Overview:

Agnello’s is seeking a passionate and dedicated Kitchen Crew Member to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent kitchen skills, and the ability to work well under pressure. As a Kitchen Crew Member, you will be responsible for preparing sandwiches, toasts, and other menu items while adhering to our recipes, standards, and safety guidelines. You will also maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure a smooth and efficient kitchen operation.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare menu items according to Agnello’s recipes, standards, and procedures. Set up and stock workstations with all necessary ingredients and equipment. Ensure proper food storage and rotation to maintain freshness and reduce waste. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen by following sanitation guidelines and disposing of waste appropriately. Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food preparation. Assist with maintaining inventory levels and notifying management of any shortages or discrepancies. Participate in daily and weekly cleaning tasks as assigned by the Kitchen Manager. Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive and productive work environment. Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless coordination of orders and service. Continuously improve culinary skills and stay current with industry trends and best practices.

Qualifications and Skills:

High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience as a Prep Cook or similar role preferred. Knowledge of various cooking techniques, methods, and procedures. Strong time management and organizational skills. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays. Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift heavy items, and perform other physically demanding tasks.
