Be accountable to your job & the greater mission Embrace honesty, transparency and vulnerability Follow-through and do what you say you’re going to do You’ll love coming to work every day if you get, want, and have the capacity to: Consistently offer excellent quality in food product to our guests Perform repetitive tasks throughout your shift Take pride in your work and thrive working independently, and at times with a team Take constructive feedback from guests and colleagues You’ll have success here if you value clear processes and feel qualified to do the following things: Ensure all kitchen duties are completed daily and weekly Cooks or directly supervises the cooking of menu items Develop and continue to provide a professional work environment Ensure a safe work environment and positive atmosphere Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays Frequent bending, lifting, crouching, leaning throughout the shift. Must be able to be on your feet for the duration of each shift, up to 8 hours at a time. Frequently use standard commercial kitchen equipment and chemicals Consistently follow NY State Board of Health requirements for cleanliness, food storage, food handling and preparation Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines. Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients using proper knife skills. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service during busy periods. Assist with catering events as needed, contributing to menu planning and execution. Clean kitchen equipment and work surfaces regularly to ensure a safe working environment.
