Job Summary EZDay Adult Day Care is seeking a dedicated and reliable Full-Time Kitchen Staff member to join our team. This role involves preparing, serving, and cleaning up after meals for our members. The ideal candidate should be able to communicate effectively in English and Spanish, and be comfortable working in a supportive, community-focused environment. For this role it is mandatory to hold a Qualifying Certificate in Food Protection from NYC Health. This is a Full-Time position – 35 hours a week (8:00AM – 3:00PM).

Responsibilities Meal Preparation:

Assist in the preparation of breakfast and lunch for members according to dietary guidelines and set menus.

Meal Service:

Serve meals to members with a friendly and respectful attitude, ensuring all dietary needs and preferences are met.

Cleaning:

Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen and dining area, including washing dishes, wiping down surfaces, and managing waste disposal.

Support Tasks:

Assist the Activity Director and Receptionist with general tasks as needed, such as setting up for activities and events or helping members during mealtimes. Requirements and Qualifications The ideal candidate MUST currently hold a Qualifying Certificate in Food Protection from NYC Health The ideal candidate should be able to communicate effectively in English and Spanish, and be comfortable working in a supportive, community-focused environment Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Friendly and compassionate attitude, with the ability to work well with seniors and staff members
