Responsibilities Food Preparation:
Assist in preparing ingredients, including chopping, slicing, and measuring, to ensure timely and consistent dish assembly.
Cooking:
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards, ensuring excellent taste and presentation.
Order Fulfillment:
Efficiently fulfill customer orders, coordinating with front-of-house staff to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
Dishwashing:
Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment to maintain a hygienic environment.
Maintaining Cleanliness:
Keep the kitchen and workstations clean and organized, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with other kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth operations and a positive team atmosphere. Qualifications Previous kitchen or food service experience is a plus but not required; we’re willing to train motivated individuals. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills. Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices (or willingness to learn). Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
