Job:

Here at Kissaki, we are looking for a person to help the chef prep each station with other Japanese apps/dishes in accordance with food, health, safety regulations, and restaurant standards.

Responsibilities:

Prepare ingredients for daily service (cleaning, chopping, measuring, etc.). Assist chefs and kitchen team with food prep tasks (prepping sauces, cutting meat, fish and vegetables, helping each station with prep work). Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment. Follow food safety guidelines and kitchen protocols. Restock prep stations and kitchen supplies as needed. Work efficiently under pressure during busy hours.

Requirements:

Previous kitchen experience is required. Must be punctual, reliable, and able to work as part of a team. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs. Flexible availability – nights, weekends, and holidays may be required. Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
