The Kitchen Worker will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen by assisting with food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting the overall efficiency of kitchen operations. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about food and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. Duties Assist in the preparation of ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and measuring. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste. Support chefs and cooks in various tasks as needed to ensure timely meal service. Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Stock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure the kitchen is well-equipped for service. Help with inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying supervisors when items need replenishing. Experience Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required; we welcome individuals eager to learn. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. A positive attitude and willingness to take direction from supervisors and chefs. Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of basic food safety practices is a plus.
