The ideal candidate will assist in various kitchen tasks, ensuring that our food preparation and service run smoothly. This role is essential for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment while supporting the cooking staff in meal preparation and food handling. Duties Assist in the preparation of ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and measuring food items. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area by washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment. Support cooks by providing necessary items during meal preparation and service. Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the safe handling and storage of food products. Help with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed. Participate in cleaning tasks at the end of shifts to maintain a hygienic work environment. Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the kitchen. Qualifications Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques is essential. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Basic knife skills and familiarity with kitchen equipment are a plus. Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to help others in a collaborative setting. Must be able to follow instructions accurately and maintain a positive attitude under pressure.
