In this role, you will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and food preparation areas. You will work closely with chefs and kitchen staff to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient environment, contributing to the overall success of our culinary operations. Responsibilities Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients as directed by the kitchen staff. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly. Follow food safety guidelines to ensure that all food is prepared and stored safely. Stock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure that the kitchen runs efficiently. Support chefs during service by ensuring that all necessary items are readily available. Participate in regular cleaning tasks, including deep cleaning equipment and storage areas. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and high-quality food presentation. Qualifications Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is required. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude. Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
