The Expediter plays a crucial role in ensuring that food orders are processed efficiently and accurately, serving as the vital link between the kitchen and dining area. This position requires strong communication skills and an understanding of food service operations to enhance the overall dining experience for our guests. Duties Coordinate and manage the flow of food orders from the kitchen to the front of house staff, ensuring timely delivery. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to clarify order details and special requests. Monitor food presentation and quality before it leaves the kitchen, ensuring it meets our high standards. Assist in bussing tables and maintaining a clean dining environment during peak service times. Support culinary staff with food handling tasks, ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation standards. Collaborate with restaurant management to streamline operations and improve service efficiency. Participate in banquet setups as needed, providing support for special events. Qualifications Previous experience in a hotel, restaurant, or food service environment preferred. Familiarity with culinary terms and kitchen operations is advantageous.
