Mesera/Cajera Los Tacos Mexican Restaurant Philadelphia, PA 19120 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Waiter/ Cashier to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent guest relations while efficiently handling transactions. You will play a vital role in ensuring a smooth dining experience for our guests by managing the cash register, assisting with food preparation, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with menu selections. Operate the cash register accurately and efficiently, processing payments and providing change. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas. Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring high-quality culinary standards. Engage in upselling techniques to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly to ensure a positive dining experience. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and accurate order fulfillment. Uphold fine dining standards by providing attentive service and maintaining a professional demeanor. Experience Previous experience as a cashier or in a customer service role is preferred. Familiarity with cash register operations and basic math skills for handling transactions. Experience in food preparation or working in a restaurant environment is advantageous. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for culinary arts and fine dining experiences is a plus.
